Meet The Board
Director of Operations
San Fernando Valley born and raised, Analisa is passionate about making sure her community is fed and fed well. With a degree in Unlearning from NYU she is sure of one thing - none of our systems are natural, people built them and that means people can build something else entirely. While she’s newer to farming and gardening she’s quick to learn and is no stranger to the operations side of organizations. While she’s not on the Farm she loves to read speculative fiction!
Rick Perillo has been exploring and teaching ecological gardening practices since graduating from California State University, Northridge in 2006. He has worked on organic farms in New Zealand and Colorado, as well as earned two Permaculture Design Certificates, his Master Gardener Certificate, and a Certificate in Global Sustainability from UCLA. Rick has taught ecological gardening at MUSE School for the last seven years.

She is a vital part of the LA food and garden scene as a participant on the LA Food Policy Council, Master Gardener, Slow Food Preserver, and working on her certification as a California Naturalist. On the side, Rachel loves to keep active by playing co-ed flag football.
